Business Analyst & Fraud Strategy

Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst on the Courier Fraud team responsible for designing, monitoring, and implementing Glovo's global anti-fraud and risk mitigation strategy. Deliver data-driven insights, build detection frameworks and dashboards, and ensure global integrity standards to reduce malicious activity (e.g., cancellations abuse, account sharing, GPS spoofing, and payment abuse) while ensuring a fair and secure fleet. Own the global courier fraud strategy across markets, develop scalable self-service dashboards, perform deep-dive analyses to identify quality gaps and actionable solutions, develop analytical models to monitor fraud risks and optimize fleet distribution, and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Fraud Prevention, Product, and Data teams. Requirements include a degree in a data-driven field, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong SQL/Excel skills and BI tool proficiency (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI), and excellent problem-solving and communication abilities in English. The role offers hybrid remote work in Barcelona, Spain.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Project Management, Business Analytics or any data driven domain
- +3 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions and to act on those insights
- Strong analytical and coding skills: SQL and Excel proficiency (or extensive coding experience)
- BI platforms experience (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Strong strategic vision and business mindset
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a high-growth, high-performance environment
- English proficiency (verbal and written)
