Job Summary
Finance Transformation-focused Business Analyst supporting ERP re-implementation and broader finance transformation. Act as a liaison between Finance and IT, translate business and financial requirements into functional specifications for system design, support all project lifecycle phases (current state assessment, solution design, UAT, data validation, go-live readiness), and contribute to change management including documentation, user training, and adoption. Collaborates with IT and stakeholders to define and deliver system/process improvements, enhances reporting capabilities with ERP/BI tools, supports FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights, and identifies opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve financial processes and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in Finance, with a focus on financial reporting or FP&A using large ERP or FP&A tools
- 2+ years of experience in finance transformation initiatives supporting large-scale finance or transformation projects (ERP or enterprise systems)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and core finance processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash)
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query and Power Pivot) and BI tools are assets
- Strong relationship-builder with excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills
