Job Summary
Gather, validate, and organize data from Azure SQL databases and Excel to support reporting requirements. Conduct basic analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business operations while ensuring data accuracy in dashboards. Develop and maintain SQL databases, create Power BI scorecards, and produce financial and operational reports including cost analysis and forecasting. Document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support small-scale process improvement initiatives. Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Full-time, regular, Markham, $69,136-$110,618.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years hands on experience using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack with primary focus on Power BI
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases, warehouses and data lakes in Azure SQL DB
- Integration environment, incl. utilization in Logic Apps, Function Apps, Functions, and API Management
- Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is a must
- Experience in modelling and data visualization; working with different data schemas and BI implementation methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, graphs)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication and collaboration skills
