Job Summary
Gather and document business requirements from diverse stakeholders, including airlines and travel agencies, while analyzing data to propose solutions that enhance the B2B channel experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that improve overall operational efficiency. This role requires a strong background in the airline and travel industry, including proficiency in data analysis tools and familiarity with global distribution systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of the airline industry
- Strong understanding of B2B channel dynamics
- Strong understanding of airline distribution systems
- Strong understanding of travel agency operations
- Strong understanding of revenue management
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Familiarity with airline reservation systems
- Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport
- Familiarity with other relevant software
- Ability to effectively gather, document, and translate business requirements from diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 4-5 years relevant experience in business analysis within the airline or travel industry
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
- Proven experience in conducting data analysis
- Proven experience in proposing solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams
