Job Summary
Review, analyze, organize, and structure approximately 100,000 lines of existing data using Microsoft Excel and an existing client system. Translate technical terminology into clear business language for stakeholders while maintaining data quality and consistency. Act as a conduit between Business and IT owners through frequent meetings, calls, and working sessions to ensure requirements are understood. Independently execute assigned work based on Project Manager direction, track progress, and provide clear status updates during weekly reporting meetings. Support the successful completion of this large-scale, time-sensitive data initiative in Houston.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst
- Supporting data-intensive projects
- Strong practical experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with large datasets
- Proven ability to organize, analyze, validate, and simplify complex information
- Experience translating technical concepts into clear business language
- Strong track record of working between Business and IT stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining data integrity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide project status updates and reporting on completed work
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Ability to deliver against deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-focused project environment
- Onsite presence in Houston Downtown
- 5 days a week availability
