Job Summary
Analyze business needs through stakeholder interviews and workshops, then formalize functional requirements, user stories, and business cases. Coordinate between business and data teams by managing backlogs, prioritizing items, and tracking development progress. Explore data quality, identify discrepancies, and define decision-making KPIs to support activity steering. Build dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to translate data into actionable insights. Contribute to data modeling efforts, including data dictionaries and mappings. This role sits within Talan Sud-Ouest's Data & IA team, which supports clients across finance, energy, and health sectors. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI is required, with Python or Dataiku being a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Business Analyst, AMOA or Functional Data Consultant
- Experience in Data transformation, BI, governance or data management contexts
- Good understanding of business issues, project management approaches and data governance and data quality issues
- Comfort with several project methodologies, including Agile / Scrum or SAFe
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business, functional and technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power BI proficiency
- Professional English proficiency
