Job Summary
The Business Analyst will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to translate investment requirements into functional specifications. Responsibilities include eliciting and documenting requirements, conducting gap analysis between current and future systems, creating detailed As-Is and To-Be workflows for investment operations, collaborating with developers and QA to ensure accurate implementation of specifications, leveraging deep knowledge of investment accounting platforms (including Advent Geneva) for data migration, reporting, and reconciliation, and supporting UAT by defining test cases and validating results against business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Business Analysis: Proven experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and functional documentation
- Systems Analysis: Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, understanding of system integrations (APIs/ETL), and the ability to interpret technical architecture
- Investment Knowledge: Strong understanding of various investment instruments, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX
- Geneva Expertise: Hands-on experience with Advent Geneva for investment accounting, including RSL/RDL reporting and portfolio set-up
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to decompose complex business problems into manageable technical tasks
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between finance and technology teams
