Job Summary
Business Analyst / Content Specialist to support design, documentation, and continuous improvement of enterprise IT solutions in a secure cloud environment. Responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements across multiple initiatives; coordinating testing and deployment readiness; supporting CI/CD pipelines, release planning, and change control; maintaining artifacts for audit readiness and ATO; producing high-quality documentation (use cases, user stories, process flows, architecture diagrams, SOPs); ensuring accessibility and compliance (Section 508); and collaborating with stakeholders to align priorities, risks, and deliverables in a hybrid remote/in-office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience supporting IT projects, business analysis, or content management in a technical environment
- Experience in SDLC including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and change management
- Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements for software and IT systems
- Ability to design workflows, process maps, and use cases to improve operational efficiency
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and validation criteria
- Strong technical writing skills for user stories, use cases, process flows, SOPs, and system documentation
- Experience supporting content publication workflows with accessibility considerations (Section 508) and organizational standards
- Understanding of cloud-based environments and modern architectures (infrastructure, networking, security, dependencies)
- Familiarity with security, compliance, governance practices (vulnerability remediation, audit readiness, continuous monitoring)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to lead or support requirements definition sessions and cross-functional coordination
- Knowledge of cloud computing, DevOps, and digital content delivery platforms
- Experience in Agile or hybrid Agile environments (preferred)
- Exposure to project management practices and Jira/Confluence (preferred)
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, release management, or deployment coordination (preferred)
- Understanding of federal IT environments and ATO processes (preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms (preferred)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
