Job Summary
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria. Create and update workflows to identify inefficiencies, while analyzing data to provide actionable insights for decision-making. Draft detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and process models, then participate in QA and lead User Acceptance Testing to validate new systems. Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives. Generate reports and project documentation to communicate status, risks, and next steps to executives. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of Business Analyst experience, and strong communication skills. Salary range $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Science, in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to various stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A strong understanding of business, mission operations and/or IT systems
- Ability to obtain Public Trust or Security Clearance (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant Business Analyst certification (e.g., CCBA, CBAP)
- Experience using User-centered design, creating usability goals and metrics, user characteristics, environment, tasks and workflow of a product
- Experience utilizing Agile Tools such as Jira, Agile Dev 2.0
- Experience supporting Defense Logistics Agency or other government Agencies
