Job Summary
Business Analyst with a solutions-focused role coordinating discovery and design for eCommerce projects. Leads workshops to define client requirements and scope, assists with scope estimation, collaborates with design and development teams on best practices and platform requirements, drafts User Stories and Tasks, and maintains ongoing engagement with internal and client teams. Responsible for documenting technical approaches, ecosystem diagrams, roadmaps, and project timelines, and for aligning internal resources to support sales cycles and client initiatives. Performs site audits, helps configure eCommerce platforms and related third-party apps, conducts demos for clients, and contributes to improving processes and documentation across the project lifecycle. Requires experience crafting technical and functional specifications, familiarity with cloud platforms and version control, knowledge of major eCommerce platforms, and strong communication and time-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a related industry
- Experience creating Technical and Functional Specification Documents at the project and feature level
- Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms and version control (Git, CI/CD, Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with eCommerce platforms: Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, BigCommerce
- Experience working in Agile development environments using Scrum principles
- Agency experience serving retail and/or other brands
- Excellent speaking and presentation skills (in-person and web)
- Superior writing skills and internal/external communications
- Strong time management across multiple projects and sales cycles
- Creative mindset and ability to develop enterprise-level solutions
- Business acumen for transforming processes to meet client goals
