Job Summary
Business Analyst, Controllership Co-Op based in Downtown Toronto (hybrid) for Fall 2026 term. You’ll support Finance’s controllership activities, governance, and decision-support processes, including financial, management and regulatory reporting, accounting records maintenance, tax planning and compliance, treasury, investor relations, and performance reviews. You’ll contribute to the Controllership, Capital Markets and Wholesale Banking initiatives, develop new or existing reports, participate in testing of new systems/databases, and assist Front Office, Risk Management and Finance as needed. Expect participation in team meetings and opportunities to propose process improvements. Candidates should have strong data and analytical capabilities, with technical experience in database design or programming (e.g., VBA, SQL, VB.net, Java, Python, HTML5, C#) and advanced Excel, and be comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders. Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies after term (Fall 2026 Co-Op)
- Ability to participate in Controllership/Capital Markets initiatives
- Experience with database design or programming is an asset (VBA, SQL, Python, Java, HTML5, C#)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel
