Job Summary
Independently conduct complex KPI and driver analyses, analyze variances, and derive actionable recommendations for business units and local management. Prepare decision-making materials by translating complex data into clear reports, benchmarks, and commentary. Further develop dashboards, reports, and analytical processes with a focus on data quality, automation, and AI-supported evaluations. Support cross-functional projects to improve operational management and performance. This full-time role (38.5 h/week) is based in Hamburg's HafenCity headquarters and requires a degree in business administration or related fields, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and fluency in German and English.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, data analytics, or a related field
- Initial relevant professional experience in operational controlling, business analytics, or reporting
- Fluent German and English
Desired Qualifications
- Very good Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), SQL, data modeling, or Databricks—a plus
- A good understanding of operational KPIs in retail and business contexts
- The ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations, and to work with metrics and reports in a structured and solution-oriented manner
- Strong communication and analytics skills to provide tailored advice to business units and management, as well as an interest in modern analytics approaches, automation, and AI-powered solutions
