Business Analyst (CO-OP Fall to Spring)

Job Summary
Gather and document business and user requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions. Support the creation of user stories, business requirements documents, process flows, and low-fidelity prototypes to translate needs into functional requirements for product, development, and QA teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and User Acceptance Testing while conducting research to identify product improvements and industry trends. Assist in troubleshooting product issues and contribute to feature prioritization and continuous improvement initiatives. This co-op role offers hands-on experience within Sodales' Health & Safety and Employee Relations product teams, working alongside industry experts to support global customers.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Interest in product management, business analysis, enterprise software, and technology solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and documentation techniques
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, or software development concepts
- Knowledge of SAP technologies, cloud applications, or enterprise software
