Job Summary
Business Analyst (Co-op) role supporting bridging business needs and technical solutions in a CPG context. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements, evaluating workflows for automation and data integration, developing user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile frameworks, supporting development teams with source-to-target mappings, assisting in designing Power BI dashboards to track KPIs, conducting user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet requirements, collaborating with Agile teams through sprint events, and running AI agents with feedback to improve model outputs. Learning opportunities include hands-on business process modeling and requirement gathering techniques, mentorship from experienced BAs and Product Owners, exposure to Agile/Scrum, and insights into how data-driven decisions impact supply chain, marketing, and retail operations; tools mentioned include Databricks, Snowflake, PowerBI, Agentic AI Tools, and AzureDevOps.
Required Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to simplify complex information
- Basic understanding of data concepts and SQL
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
