Job Summary
Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn, and Freelancer. Independently manage the complete sales lifecycle, including initial outreach, requirement gathering, proposal drafting, negotiation, and closing. Communicate with domestic and international clients via calls and virtual meetings to understand technical requirements and prepare customized proposals. Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure accurate solution mapping and maintain long-term client relationships using CRM tools. Stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities. This role offers performance-based incentives and career growth within a collaborative IT services environment serving diverse international markets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in IT business development, sales, or account management
- Hands-on experience working with Upwork, LinkedIn lead generation, freelancing platforms, or similar channels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation and presentation abilities
- Ability to independently handle clients and take ownership of accounts without constant supervision
- Basic technical understanding of IT services such as web development, mobile apps, cloud solutions, or digital transformation (not required to code)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a client-centric mindset
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience selling services related to web technologies, mobile applications, SaaS, cloud, or custom software development
- Exposure to international markets (US, UK, Middle East, Australia, etc.)
- Familiarity with proposal tools, CRM systems, and basic project estimation concepts
