Business Analyst - Cards (She/He/They)

Job Summary
Business Analyst with payments/credit card expertise to define and refine product requirements for credit card and payment solutions; analyze business processes, customer journeys, and transaction data to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization; translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; support end-to-end lifecycle of credit card products including onboarding, authorization, clearing, settlement, and dispute management; conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product strategy and positioning; collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, compliance, operations, finance) to ensure alignment and successful delivery; assist in UAT planning and execution; monitor KPIs and performance metrics post-launch to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments industry, with a strong focus on credit card products
- Solid understanding of card scheme operations (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), issuer/acquirer models, and payment processing flows
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI platforms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in the payments space (e.g., PSD2, PCI DSS)
