Job Summary
Translate business objectives into clear, testable data engineering stories and acceptance criteria. Manage backlog for ETL/ELT changes, DBT models, data quality rules, and reporting outputs. Elicit requirements for data pipelines and define acceptance criteria. Collaborate with Tech Lead and Scrum Master on project management aspects. Prepare UAT plans and maintain documentation to track decisions and processes. Requires strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling and various tools relevant to data management.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6+ years as Data/EDW Business Analyst or Technical BA in ETL/ELT environments
- Proficiency with SQL and data modeling
- Experience writing acceptance criteria and validation scenarios tied to SLIs/SLOs
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Experience with GitHub
- Knowledge of Tableau/SSRS
- Experience with Collibra is a plus
