Business Analyst – Automation & AI Enablement

Job Summary
Partner with business units across the enterprise to document current-state processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for standardization. Analyze operational data to uncover trends and root causes, then support prioritization of the enterprise process improvement pipeline in partnership with leadership. Develop and maintain enterprise-wide process excellence standards, frameworks, and playbooks while serving as a liaison between operations, business units, and technology teams. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to surface pain points, collaborate on translating opportunities into actionable initiatives, and manage change communication. Track and report on initiative outcomes including efficiency, quality, and cost impact to provide leadership with visibility into process performance trends. Maintain a working awareness of automation and AI-enabled tools to flag relevant opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operations excellence
- Demonstrated experience with process mapping, business requirements gathering, and data analysis
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and comfort working with reporting or business intelligence tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting findings to stakeholders across departments
- Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments and business units, and to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience supporting organizational change management
- General awareness of automation or AI-enabled tools and their potential impact on operations; hands-on experience is a plus but not required
- Background screening, HR technology, or B2B SaaS industry experience
