Business Analyst Associate

Job Summary
Analyze end-to-end payments processes, identify pain points and root causes, and support the design of future-state improvements with a focus on standardization. Elicit and document requirements for process changes, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and SOP updates, ensuring alignment with Technology and Operations SMEs. Apply global delivery and documentation standards to LATAM initiatives, coordinate with global counterparts to incorporate best practices, and share regional learnings. Support Agile execution activities, maintain backlog hygiene, and track actions, RAID inputs, dependencies, and milestones using monday.com and Jira. Prepare concise materials for working sessions and governance forums, and facilitate workshops with SMEs to validate processes, controls, and implementation readiness. Bilingual in Spanish and English, with preferred Portuguese skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, operations/process improvement, or project delivery roles with strong process orientation
- Hands-on experience in operations process mapping and documentation (e.g., swim lanes, procedures, control points, handoffs)
- Practical experience working in Agile environments and proficiency using monday.com and Jira (tickets, workflows, backlog management, basic reporting)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex operational topics into clear, structured deliverables
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken)

- Payments domain expertise (products, end-to-end processing flows, operational practices, and exception management) and experience supporting transformation across regulated/control-focused environments
