Job Summary
Functional BA leading D365 F&O configuration for US & Canada manufacturing/distribution; own planning, scheduling, purchasing, production reporting; translate business needs into functional requirements; lead testing, UAT, training; collaborate with IT and operations; travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or manufacturing related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or functional ERP analyst with experience in implementation and support across multiple different companies, preferably with consulting implementation experience
- Proven experience partnering with operations teams in a manufacturing and distribution environment
- Strong business communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (or similar) to manage end-to-end delivery: write/refine user stories with acceptance criteria, manage change requests, track defects, and ensure traceability from requirement → configuration → test/UAT → release
- Demonstrated ability to translate business process needs into D365 F&O functional design and configuration (e.g., parameters, master data, workflows/approvals, security roles, and manufacturing transactions) that improve cycle time, accuracy, and control
- Ability to travel up to 50%
