Job Summary
Elicit requirements through customer interviews and create well-written system requirements documents. Develop user stories and use cases adhering to business analysis best practices, while designing mockups and wireframes that align with UX standards. Lead business process re-engineering initiatives to improve software process flows. This contract spans one year in Austin, Texas (Hybrid), requiring eight years of experience in SDLCs, communication, and writing. Preferred candidates possess TEA or federal education agency experience, proficiency in Atlassian Jira, and knowledge of Modern Requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 8 Years - Experience eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements
- 8 Years - Experience with software development life cycles (SDLCs)
- 8 Years - Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement experience
- 8 Years - Experience developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices
- 8 Years - Experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
- 5 Years - Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
- 5 Years - Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills
Desired Qualifications
- 4 Years - Documented experience working for or closely with TEA OR a federal/state/local education agency OR ed vendor
- 2 Years - Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira"
- 2 Years - Documented work experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements"
