Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts to support effective delivery and high-quality business analysis outcomes. Establish enterprise standards, templates, tools, and quality expectations for requirements, user stories, process documentation, and other deliverables. Align BA capacity to programs and teams based on product and delivery needs while partnering with product, technology, and business leaders to clarify priorities and success measures. Drive communication, resolve escalated issues related to scope or dependencies, and advance continuous improvement across the discipline. Ensure BAs effectively lead elicitation, analysis, and documentation activities across initiatives of varying size and complexity. Ensure outputs are clear, testable, and aligned to business outcomes. This role requires ten years of experience in business analysis or related fields, with a focus on leading within Agile delivery environments. The position is eligible to work from home anywhere in the US, with preference given to those living in the Des Moines, IA metro area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ten years of experience in business analysis or related experience
- Experience leading or mentoring Business Analysts
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Experience partnering with business, product, and technology leadership
- Strong knowledge of business analysis practices and techniques
- Understanding of requirements management and user story development
- Understanding of software development lifecycles
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to lead people and develop talent
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Ability to balance delivery oversight with capability development
- This position is eligible to work from home anywhere in the US with preference given to those living in the Des Moines, IA metro area
