Job Summary
Business Affairs Manager responsible for global contracting infrastructure, leading creator contracts, CLM rollout and training, and ensuring compliant, streamlined workflows. Key duties include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating creator and commercial agreements; managing contract templates and automated redlining; ensuring alignment with policies and regulatory requirements (FTC, SAG-AFTRA, platform terms); implementing and training on Waves CLM platform; building playbooks/SOPs; cross-functional collaboration with Client Services, Sales, Product, and Finance; and driving improvements to contract management systems to accelerate turnaround times. Experience with CLM tools, independent drafting/review, and familiarity with AI tools are highly valued. Location flexibility includes New York (Hybrid) or United States-wide remote, with an emphasis on NA growth and scalable processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in Business Affairs, Legal Ops, Contracts, or closely related function
- Working knowledge of a CLM tool
- Proven ability to draft and review commercial agreements independently and to a high standard
- Comfortable familiarity with AI tools and prompting
- Strong commercial judgement and meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Resilient self-starter with autonomy and good judgement
- Comfortable negotiating
- Legal qualification not required but welcomed; familiarity with creator economy and specific US (FTC) and UK/EU (ASA/GDPR) legislation is a plus
