Job Summary
Examine and interpret organizational data to unlock valuable insights that inform strategic decision-making and enhance data-driven processes. Identify meaningful trends and contribute to the improvement of business operations by applying data modelling, analysis, and visualization techniques using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI. Translate complex data into understandable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders while managing relationships with cross-functional departments and external partners. Forecast trends through machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling to support strategic planning, ensuring adherence to data privacy and security principles within the healthcare sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years' recent, related experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to apply data modelling, analysis, and visualization techniques in a business context
- Proven experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a similar role
- Advanced proficiency in analytical tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling, capable of applying these techniques to forecast trends and inform strategic decisions
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles, especially relevant in the healthcare industry, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in stakeholder management, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various departments and communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences effectively
- A collaborative team player with a proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
