Job Summary
Own your local territory by generating leads through door-to-door prospecting, networking, and consistent follow-up with small and mid-sized businesses. Introduce decision-makers to Socket Fiber's business services, including Broadband, Voice, and UCaaS solutions, while assessing customer needs and delivering tailored offerings. Hit monthly sales goals by managing your pipeline in Salesforce and closing opportunities through daily sales calls and team check-ins. Maintain a professional presence representing the brand with integrity while navigating rejection in this performance-driven, commission-heavy role. Work outdoors in all weather within a 30-90 minute radius, attending an 8 AM virtual team meeting daily. Mileage is paid, and you must hold a current driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current & valid driver's license with no restrictions
- Ability to travel daily within your assigned local market (30-90 minute radius from your main market)
- Physical ability to walk and be on your feet for long periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Comfort navigating rejection—this is a performance-driven, commission-heavy role
- Availability for an 8 AM team meeting daily (virtual)
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior sales experience (especially door-to-door or in-person)
- Experience working in customer service or a client-facing role
- General knowledge of telecommunications services (i.e. internet, wireless, phone systems)
