Job Summary
Conduct bush regeneration tasks including brush cutting, tree planting, hedging, mowing, and weed removal while utilizing small plant and equipment. Apply herbicides, remove rubbish, collect seeds, water, and mulch as required. Maintain physical fitness for heavy work involving lifting, bending, and standing in thick bushland. Hold a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management with 2-3 years of relevant experience, a white card, and Class C license. Work as a casual within Muru Mittigar's Land Management team to restore native ecosystems and incorporate traditional Cultural practices.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or equivalent)
- At least 2-3 years' bush regeneration experience
- Good fitness level
- Suitability to undertake various heavy work requirements
- General construction induction card (white card)
- AQF3 Chemical Application Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with children's check (or willingness to obtain)
- Class C Driver's License and own transport
- A willingness and ability to listen and follow instructions
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management (CLM) or Conservation and Ecosystem Management (CEM)
