Job Summary
Safely operate a bus along designated routes in and around Morristown, NJ while following all traffic laws, transit regulations, and company safety policies. Assist passengers with boarding, alighting, and fare collection, and provide courteous, professional customer service to all riders. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition, and maintain accurate trip logs, incident reports, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding route updates or delays. Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement, a clean driving record, and previous bus or commercial vehicle driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious work ethic
- Strong communication and customer service skills
