Job Summary
Bus Operator—Waiteville Run position supervising all passengers on the Waiteville Run, reporting deviations from the assigned run to proper authorities, complying with WV School Transportation Regulations and Monroe County School Transportation Policy, reporting accidents and disciplinary problems, maintaining positive work habits, and upgrading skills. Requires bus operator licensure with First Aid and CPR, eligibility for the B Part of the CDL, at least a graduate or GED equivalent, good driving record, 21+ with three years of driving experience, and successful background and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold bus operator licensure which includes a valid First Aid Card, CPR Card, and qualify for the B Part of the Commercial Driver's License
- Pass required graduate or GED equivalent
- Physically fit, according to WV School Transportation Regulations
- Satisfactory driving record with WV Dept. of Safety and all qualifications set forth in WV School Transportation Regulations.
- Must be 21 years of age with three years of driving experience.
- Must pass background and drug screening.
