Job Summary
As a School Bus Monitor, you will assist the driver with the safe management of students onboard the vehicle, including helping students enter and exit, performing safety checks, leading emergency evacuations, and communicating behavior issues with parents and management. Responsibilities also include monitoring passenger safety throughout routes, checking the bus for sleeping children, assisting with backing the vehicle safely, maintaining cleanliness, and liaising with parents as needed. The role involves occasional field trips and special events. Qualifications require 1+ year of experience working with children, completion of a comprehensive training program, and passing pre-employment background checks.
