Bus Monitor - District Transportation

Assist the bus driver in the safe and orderly transportation of students by helping them board and exit the bus, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining student discipline throughout the route. Ensure passengers observe all safety regulations, maintain attentiveness to surroundings, and provide appropriate assistance to special needs students as required. Engage students in educational activities, maintain communication with parents, and enforce regulations against tobacco usage and eating on the bus. Sit behind the last child or in the middle of a loaded bus, assist substitute drivers, and attend all safety meetings. Maintain a professional demeanor, comply with district policies, and participate in on-site training sessions. This part-time role is available for the 2026-2027 school year with a salary of $12 per hour.
