Job Summary
Assist the bus driver in providing a safe journey by helping students board and exit, ensuring children with special needs receive care, and maintaining safety rules. Communicate with the driver to keep the ride calm and provide encouragement to students daily. This part-time role in Venetia, PA, requires split shifts on weekdays only and offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus. You must be at least 21 years old, physically able to assist students, and possess CPR/First Aid certification. First Student guides you through industry-leading safety and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM)
- Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures
- Friendly, reliable, and patient working with children
- Team-oriented with a focus on safety
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
