Job Summary
Bus Driver opportunities at Brockport Central School District (job fair event). Eligible candidates may qualify for a $1,000 sign-on bonus with a structured payout after 60, 120, and 180 days of employment. Work year is 10 months (summer positions may be available). Minimum starting rate is $23.00 per hour. Training is provided to obtain NYS Class B-CDL and the skills to safely transport students. Must pass annual physical, drug and alcohol testing, and maintain a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and with peers, follow oral and written instructions, and maintain a positive relationship with students, staff, and families. Walk-ins are welcome and pre-registration is available; event at Brockport CSD - Oliver Middle School Cafeteria. FLSA: Non-Exempt.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Class B-CDL Driver's License
- Training provided to obtain CDL
- Annual physical, drug and alcohol testing per federal law
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues
- Ability to carry out oral and written instructions
- Positive attitude and ability to build relationships with students, staff and families
