Job Summary
Bus Driver responsible for safe operation of YMCA bus and assisting with various activities as needed, including maintaining safe driving practices, completing pre-trip inspections, reporting accidents or breakdowns, and ensuring compliance with vehicle guidelines and passenger limits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age to drive Mini bus or 21 years or older to drive a bus.
- Must hold a valid South Carolina issued License or CDL license.
- Compatible with the vehicle they will be operating.
- Must Submit Copy of South Carolina Driver’s license; DMV Medical Certificate (bus driver).
- Impeccable driving record.
- Ability to communicate with people of all levels.
- Have a positive attitude and desire to achieve the mission of the Upper Palmetto YMCA.
- Carrying, sitting, seeing, hearing, speaking, running, crouching, lifting (25 Lbs.), and walking.
