Bus Driver for YMCA part-time role operating and supervising safe transportation of passengers, performing pre-trip inspections, adhering to vehicle guidelines and safety rules, reporting incidents, and maintaining a positive, communicative demeanor with passengers and supervisors. Requires SC CDL or driver's license, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and compliance with YMCA transportation policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age to drive Mini bus or 21 years or older to drive a bus
- Must hold a valid South Carolina issued License or CDL license
- Copy of South Carolina Driver’s license; DMV Medical Certificate (bus driver)
- Impeccable driving record
- Ability to communicate with people of all levels
- Have a positive attitude and desire to achieve the mission of the Upper Palmetto YMCA
- Carrying, sitting, seeing, hearing, speaking, running, crouching, lifting (25 Lbs.), and walking.
