Job Summary
Conduct safe conveyance of passengers and loads between origination and destination, ensuring all equipment is secured and road-worthy before departures. Greet guests warmly during load and unload operations, then drive guides and guests to/from river put-in and take-out points, including occasional airport trips. Perform daily vehicle inspections, cleaning, and maintenance, recording all repairs in the log book while coordinating larger upkeep with suppliers. Assist guides with equipment take-out processes, including directing guests and preparing straps on trailers. Communicate with the area manager regarding operational problems or cooperation issues. Provide superlative guest service with a professional, helpful attitude. Requires a current CDL with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction, plus a current Medical Examiner's Card. Positions available in Spokane, WA; Superior, MT; Syringa, ID.
Required Qualifications
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- At least 25 years of age
- A positive, supportive team player
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Neatly groomed
- Possess a current CDL with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction
- Possess a current Medical Examiner's Card
- Minimum two years bus or truck driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and comply with ROW's Drug and Tobacco Free Workplace Policy
- Excellent driving record
- Before starting employment must submit a current Motor Vehicle Record from the Department of Motor Vehicles
