Job Summary
Convey passengers and loads safely between origination and destination, ensuring all equipment is secured and road-worthy before departures. Greet guests warmly during loading and unloading, then drive them to and from river launch points, airports, or regional locations as needed. Perform daily vehicle inspections, cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs, documenting all maintenance in the log book. Coordinate larger maintenance needs with suppliers and assist guides with equipment take-out processes. Communicate promptly with the area manager regarding operational problems or cooperation issues. Maintain a professional, helpful demeanor while providing superlative guest service.
Required Qualifications
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- At least 25 years of age
- A positive, supportive team player
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Neatly groomed
- Possess a current CDL with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction
- Possess a current Medical Examiner's Card
- Minimum two years bus or truck driving experience
- Experience handling a trailer
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and comply with ROW's Drug and Tobacco Free Workplace Policy
- Excellent driving record
- Before starting employment must submit a current Motor Vehicle Record from the Department of Motor Vehicles
