Job Summary
Convey passengers and loads safely between origination and destination, ensuring all cargo is securely fastened and road-worthy before departure. Greet guests warmly during loading and unloading, driving them to and from river launch points or regional airports as needed. Perform daily vehicle inspections, cleaning the interior and exterior while maintaining fuel and oil levels. Visually check the bus and trailer for repairs, logging all maintenance in the vehicle log book and coordinating larger repairs with suppliers. Assist guides with equipment take-out processes, including directing guests and preparing straps. Communicate promptly with the area manager regarding operational problems or cooperation issues. Provide superlative guest service with a professional, helpful attitude. Requires a current CDL with passenger endorsement, no air brake restriction, and at least two years of bus or truck driving experience. Positions available in Spokane, WA; Superior, MT; and Syringa, ID.
Required Qualifications
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- At least 25 years of age
- A positive, supportive team player
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Neatly groomed
- Possess a current CDL with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction
- Possess a current Medical Examiner's Card
- Minimum two years bus or truck driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and comply with ROW's Drug and Tobacco Free Workplace Policy
- Excellent driving record
- Before starting employment must submit a current Motor Vehicle Record from the Department of Motor Vehicles
