Job Summary
Operate company buses and transportation vehicles in compliance with DOT/FMCSA/state/local regulations to safely transport residents on assigned routes and schedules. Assist passengers with boarding/disembarking, perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and report safety concerns. Communicate destinations and trip details clearly; support Life Enrichment staff with outing coordination when transportation duties allow. Maintain courteous, professional, service-oriented attitude and ensure safety, security, and compliance in all passenger interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements for passenger transport or active Chauffeur License
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- ability to meet and maintain DOT medical certification requirements for CDL
- Previous bus or passenger transportation experience preferred
