Job Summary
Transport students by school bus in a safe and professional manner under the direction of the transportation supervisor. Schedule own work and determine impediments to the work schedule while operating within established systems and rules. This recurring, routine position functions within the Jefferson County School District's transportation team, serving students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must hold a valid Oregon Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and complete fingerprinting, background checks, and drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a valid Oregon Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - or have ability to obtain
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a school bus driver in a k-12 environment
- Experience working in a CDL driver position in a non-school industry
- Holds a valid Oregon commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger, air brake and "S" endorsement, school bus driver certificates/licenses and the ability to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR card
- Bilingual Spanish
