Bus Driver (Per-Diem)

Operate the school bus on designated routes for morning pickups and afternoon drop-offs, adhering to strict time schedules. Safely transport students and staff to field trips, athletic events, and extracurricular activities, which may occasionally include evening or weekend hours. Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking brakes, lights, tires, fluids, and emergency exits. Maintain discipline and enforce safety rules while the bus is in motion, reporting behavioral infractions to administration. Ensure the interior remains clean, sanitary, and clear of debris daily. Maintain a calm demeanor during emergencies, traffic accidents, or inclement weather, and conduct passenger evacuation drills.
