Job Summary
Transports program children and parents to center’s activities, to and from home in a safe and enjoyable manner. Ensures safe and timely transportation for agency children and families by assisting in developing routes, loading/unloading children, maintaining vehicle safety and sanitation, completing daily pre-trip inspections, keeping rosters/logs, ensuring proper seat belt use, and coordinating with Bus Assistant. Maintains equipment and documentation, participates in mandated training, communicates with families and county staff, supports evacuation drills, and contributes to team efforts while upholding Head Start policies and safety standards. Requires an active Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate and adherence to state and agency regulations; offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
