Job Summary
Safely operate a school bus in accordance with all state and district regulations while transporting students on assigned routes and trips. Maintain order and ensure student safety by conducting pre- and post-trip inspections and communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff. This role requires a valid CDL with school bus endorsement, a satisfactory driving record, and successful BCI and FBI background checks. Candidates must complete required Ohio school bus driver training and certification. The position covers the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year for Tipp City Schools.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL with school bus endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to meet all state and district requirements for school drivers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Successful BCI and FBI background checks
- Completion of required Ohio school bus driver training and certification
- Compliance with all state and district transportation regulations
