Bus Driver

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus using the Daily Bus Inspection form, maintaining clean and adjusted exterior mirrors and interior spaces. Operate the bus safely in compliance with state traffic laws, State Board of Education regulations, and local school board rules, while exercising defensive driving skills and monitoring for hazards including poor weather and railroad crossings. Maintain planned routes and schedules, report route hazards to officials, and lead at least one annual evacuation drill with documented emergency procedures. Complete all required reports on bus discipline, maintenance, and other board mandates. Must be 21 years old with a valid Class A or B license holding "P" and "S" endorsements, possess a clean driving record, and pass background and drug screenings. Part-time, non-exempt hourly role.
