Job Summary
Operate school bus on assigned routes and at special events, ensuring safe transportation for students. Perform daily vehicle inspections, monitor student behavior, enforce district policies, assist special needs students, complete required written reports, and maintain confidentiality of district information. Adhere to state/federal safety policies and provide reliable, courteous service; respond to emergencies and incidents as needed. Requires CDL with school bus/passenger endorsement and adherence to testing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid North Dakota Commercial Driver's License with school bus/passenger endorsement
Additional Requirements
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing; random drug testing as per federal regulations
