Job Summary
Conduct quality learning experiences with small groups of children and sometimes individual students while assisting teachers in lesson planning, preparation, and implementation. Guide students in working and playing harmoniously, maintain neat study areas, and assist with lunch, snacks, and cleanup routines. Administer and record student assessments, manage portfolios and records, and operate classroom equipment. Accompany students on field trips and serve as the chief resource for substitute teachers during assigned absences. Maintain ethical confidentiality and alert teachers to any student-specific problems or special information.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree (48 college credit hours) or higher
- CDL (Candidate must have or be willing to obtain)
