Bus Driver - Glide School District

Provide safe student transportation on regularly scheduled routes and field trips, operating a school bus and equipment (including wheelchair-accessible buses), while maintaining confidentiality and safety for students. Responsibilities include obeying traffic laws, knowledge of state/local regulations, pre-trip inspections, communication with District and parents, coordinating with other districts, and maintaining records of mileage and passengers. Requires a valid Oregon driver’s license, an Oregon School Bus Drivers Certificate (or ability to obtain), First Aid/CPR, and the ability to operate and service bus equipment. Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 60-100 pounds; ability to work a 5-hour day within a four-day work week; strong customer service and professional conduct. Salary range $20.86-$24.21 per hour (converted to annualized $43,341-$50,333), Part-time status with benefits eligibility per district policy.
