Bus Driver - Full-Time Day Shift

Job Summary
Provide scheduled transportation to seniors at assigned VHI assisted living communities, assist residents entering/exiting the bus, operate handicap lift as needed, support residents during outings, maintain the bus (cleanliness, inspections, fuel levels, and records), arrange for routine maintenance, manage incidents, and participate in resident activities. Must hold a Maryland driver’s license in good standing, be free of DWI/reckless driving histories, have no civil/criminal convictions, present professionally, and be current on vaccinations with First Aid and CPR certification. Overtime eligible; pay range $23-$25/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current driver’s license in the state of Maryland.
- Driver’s license must be in good standing and free of any current or past violations regarding DWI or reckless driving. All drivers must be approved by Catholic Mutual to ensure insurance coverage.
- Must have no current or history of civil or criminal convictions including misdemeanors.
- Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and tact in dealing with others.
- Must be current on all vaccinations including COVID-19 and receive CDC recommended booster doses.
- Must be First Aid and CPR certified.
