Job Summary
Operate school buses on assigned routes to transport students safely and efficiently. Maintain control of passengers, perform pre/post trip inspections, complete required forms, and comply with district policies and state regulations. Complete required training and emergency procedures; collaborate with district staff; adapt to various weather conditions and ensure student safety and orderly conduct during transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience driving passenger vehicles for at least three years or one year with commercial endorsement
- Valid Washington State Commercial Driver’s License with passenger/school bus endorsement with airbrake restriction removed
- Washington State School Bus Driver's Authorization
- First Aid Card
