Job Summary
Provide scheduled transportation for residents while performing daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and arranging regular maintenance. Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior, stock the first aid kit, and keep emergency information sheets current. Report any vehicle concerns to the Life Enrichment Director and Executive Director immediately. This role requires a "C" level commercial driver's license with no violations and the ability to drive for extended periods up to two hours. Previous experience working with the elderly is preferred, along with valid CPR/First Aid certification. The position operates Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 pm to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- "C" level commercial driver's license with no violations on record
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time, up to 2 hours
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Valid CPR/First Aid certificate (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aid (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
