Job Summary
Drive passenger buses to and from activities and destinations, assisting residents with loading and unloading, operating lifts, and transporting wheelchairs and oxygen tanks. Operate daily and weekly route schedules while conducting periodic checks of bus operation including fuel, oil, fluids, and lights. Maintain bus cleanliness by vacuuming and removing garbage, and keep logs and records pertaining to vehicle service. Run errands for events and community activities as requested. This role requires a driver in good standing with at least one year of bus driving experience, with flexibility for day, evening, and weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant must be a driver in good standing
- Must be able to pass a background check with insurance provider
- Must have 1 year of experience driving a bus
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Day, evening and weekends will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with seniors is preferred
